The Bible begins in the Book of Genesis with the words, "In the beginning ..."
Our story begins here too. We are a part of this first beginning--a part of God's creation and plan. God chose to birth this church and Ponca City at the same time, over 100 years ago while Oklahoma was still a territory. Since then Ponca First and Ponca City and Oklahoma have grown up together. From humble and simple beginnings, God has walked with us and worked through us to make a Christian difference in our community and State.
Today we continue to strive to make a Christian difference. Our historic sanctuary conveys the richness of tradition while our Welcome Center embracing the freshness of the future. We greatly value what has been handed on to us from those who have gone before us, but we are not stuck looking only to the past. We also look forward and believe God continues to work out his future plan through us.
